• August 1990 to 1992: State Coordinator for Total Literacy and Gram Swarajya Campaign in the state of Orissa with the support of Banwasi Sewa Ashram, Sonebhadra, U.P.
• 1993- 2006: Consultant for Indian Social Institute, New Delhi for evaluation of developmental projects of international donor agencies for the NGOs in the state of Orissa.
• 1993- 2004: Founder member and Convener/General Secretary of Angul Swechhasevi Sangathan Samukshya (ASSS), Angul a district level forum of voluntary organization working on women, community health and child labour issues.
• 1996-1997: Monitor for National Wasteland Development Board, Ministry of Rural Areas and Employment, Government of India, New Delhi for the state of Orissa
• 1998-2004: Honorary State Coordinator for promotion of Gandhian Values and Gram Swarajya, through Mahatma Gandhi Mission-Orissa (forum of 20 NGOs and activists), promoted by Banwasi Sewa Ashram, Sonebhadra, U.P.
• 1998-2008: Honorary Governing Board Member first 2 years, Vice President second 4 years and Secretary third 4 years in Orissa Voluntary Health Association, a 32 years old health and development organization working in the state of Orissa.
• 2005-2006: Governing Board member of Voluntary Health Association of India, a pioneer organization in New Delhi in the field of health and development sector working since last 35 years in India.
• 1986-1989: Founder Member  and Assistant Secretary of Viswa Yuva Kendra
• 1990- Till date: Member Secretary (Honorary)  and Director of Viswa Yuva Kendra, a pioneer organization working in the central and western part of the state of Orissa in the field of Education for dropouts, child labourers and children, community health, women empowerment, youth promotion and livelihood issues.

Achievement/ Recognition

• Under my leadership the organization VYK has established its recognition and credibility in the state and outside as a development organization working with the community for their development. It has received state youth award for 2005-06 for youth service and national development activities from State Youth Welfare Board, Department of Youth Services and Sports, Government of Orissa.
• I have been awarded with best Gandhian Worker by a state level NGO named Youth Association for Rural Reconstruction, Angul for promotion of Gandhian Values and Gram Swarajya in the state of Orissa.

Present Occupation

• Director of Viswa Yuva Kendra working in the field of community health, education, women empowerment, youth promotion and livelihood issues in the district of Angul, Dhenkanal, Deogarh, Sonepur and Boudh districts of Orissa state.
• Coordinator for IGNOU Special study centre organized by Viswa Yuva Kendra since 2002 and conducted programs like M.A. in Rural Development , Bachelors degree in Arts and Commerce, P.G.Diploma in Rural Development and 9 Certificate courses.
• Principal for VYK Rural Community College, organized by Viswa Yuva Kendra and recently promoted/ approved by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi and conducted courses like Diploma in Primary Education, Certificate in DTP and other 6 certificate courses.

Future Plan

• Establish VYK as a strong people's organization in the state of Orissa and help people access to basic needs like education, health, food, clothes and shelter and build an empowered society.
• Access to technical and higher education to under privileged youths, dropouts and illiterate children and make an economically self sustained society.
• Promote participation of underprivileged women for their social, economic, and political growth.
