Micro Finance and IGP

With the support of Rashtriya Gramin Vikash Nidhi (RGVN), Bhubaneswar and Gram Utthan, Kendrapara we have provided soft loan of Rs. 775,000 poor and lower income group women to involve them in small Income Generation activities during the year 2005-06. The ultimate aim is to develop social and economic status of women and their family of the underprivileged community. 10 women self help groups have been supported with an 18% interest ( reducing rate) loan for small business activity, brick making, kitchen gardening, paddy, rice processing, petty shop, poultry. About 80% have been recovered by the end of financial year.
